The opportunity for the public to learn about science and to explore human connections to the ocean is and will remain one of the highest priorities for the Noyo Center. We have been supporting informal learning opportunities around our blue whale project, Orca project and local marine mammal science.

The Noyo Center sponsors ongoing events to improve our understanding of the coastal ocean. Events include:
- Scientific Lectures: Visiting scientists, artist, architects, and experts will provide us with insight into marine ecosystems, sustainable
design, whale articulation, and much, much more. - “Discovery Days”: Family education events centered around marine mammals and our blue whale skeleton in particular.
- Stewardship & Educational Events : Beach Clean-ups and community education events.
